Just took a quest to kill some stags for 3 chunks of meat. Three kills, three meats.
In Wow, the majority of the stags would have been completely meatless, and I'd end up having to kill up to 30 of them :)

Why did you feel the need to post about this?
Please remove this post...cmon
In WoW's defense, you have quests where you just don't collect drops...remember the Plants vs Zombies quest? The quest where you do the quest giver? And countless others where you drive vehicles?
I remember that.
Remember Vanilla WoW, where you could spend hours in the Barrens hunting raptors and quillboars for heads, fighting with other players for spawns, only to find that most of them didn't have heads?
Pepperidge Farm remembersbecause they're still there.
In classic WoW, certainly. However, SE is familiar with similar questing if FFXI drop rates are anything to go by.
The time it takes you to kill one mob in ff14 you could have killed about 3-10 mobs in WoW
I remember the zhevra hooves quest. I should be finished that quest after killing one, but apparently most zhevras have only one hoof despite the model clearly showing four legs with a hoof on each.
Murloc eyes for that weird cooking recipe quest...apparently one in three murlocs have one eye. I guess the other eyes are all false?
There are some things I miss about WoW, but quest drop rates are not one of them.
Um,chile...so anway
