Question regarding subscription payment with credit card for someone else.

My wife will be joining us in Final Fantasy XIV soon (got a new PC and a new copy of the game so we can both have an account of our own and log in simultaneously).

I'm currently paying for my account directly with my credit card (MasterCard), not with Crysta. It works well for me, but I'm worried about the fact the payment method form only asks for the card number, expiration date and security code, not the cardholder's name.

So I'd like to ask:
Does the system simply assume the cardholder's name is identical to that of the Square Enix Account? Would that be a problem if we set up my credit card number on my wife's account as well?

I'd like to be able to pay for my wife's account with my credit card as well (she doesn't have one, mine is the only credit card in our household), but I'm worried the transaction may be refused because the card's on my name and not hers.

I suppose that if this doesn't work, I could always use my Click&Buy account to pay for it, or worst of cases we could get her a card of her own (though we're not really big fans of multiplying credit cards beyond our needs).

Could anyone shed some light on this? there's absolutely no info about this particular payment method on the Square Enix help site.
