Yes, for the love of Menphina, can we please get macros that are hosted on the server?
If you upgrade your PC or play on more than one computer, it's a pain to have to keep rewriting macros. And, like Firon said, we'll eventually have people that bounce between PC and PS3.
Even a way to import and export macros would be great. The UI is a little clunky for creating them. It was a pain to have to rewrite everything after the server merge.
I used this feature in XI a lot, and it made life much easier. I'd love to see it in XIV as well! ...though perhaps it could be a little more user-friendly. It was tough to remember what the commands for saving, etc. were, and you had to do it from the character select screen.

At character select screen...
Ctr + Shift + Alt + B = Backup Macros
Ctr + Shift + Alt + R = Restore Macros
Each account was able to backup 1 character set of macros settings and map markers.
Right now this is not an issue because the files are stored in your "My Documents/ Documents" folder and can be backed up for future installs of the game. On the other hand, this feature really did shine when going back and forth from PC to console and I really hope to see this when the PS3 client launches.
