Vault restrictions

Some FC's suffer the issue where new members take all the stacks from the vault without putting something back "or" join FC's and rob the vault they have access to. Some of us have therefor locked access by new members but I was wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to implement an option where leaders can choose how many items a day members may take from each vault tab seperately. Including a secondary option that allows ranks with access to right click each cell/item and lock them seperately so only the ranks with access to this option can take them out of the vault. That way crewmembers of an FC can reserve slots for when they craft something in the workshop that they need to share with the rest of the crew without anyone taking it out. And due to the lack of vault tabs I would hate to reserve an entire vaulttab in the disadvantage of the entire FC while needing only a handfull of cells.

Most likely not. The chest already has 3 layers with varying permissions on it. I rather they spent the dev time it take to code in such a thing on expanding the chest space and making repeating ventures a thing.

allready 3 tabs (knowing there's 50x more materials & items than those tabs can hold)? You must be joking. I have 10 ranks in my FC and would need 4 vault tabs at the very least to balance out its use, preferred 5 to have a seperate one for crew use (unless cells can be locked). You may not have need for them in your FC but we aim big and we love to be organized and not have to clean out the vault to make room just because members dumped too much crap in it, locking it for members that would love to make use of the better materials that no longer fit the vault due to being full. It happened to my first FC 3x in just 2 months. I suppose you are just used to less active FC's xD

Although it's not what your original post was asking for, with 5.2 (on Tuesday) the maximum FC rank will rise from 8 to 30. We don't know the specifics yet, but they have said higher ranks will add more chest space which hopefully means more tabs.
