I need tips for culinarian

Got it to lvl 80 by repeatedly turning in lvl 40 ishgard restoration stuff, watched vids but they give no advice on what the skills do, they just teach the fastest way to lvl.

I read the tooltips but I don't understand em at all, I hear there is a skill around 70 to 80 that auto HQs an item,what is it.

I'm a more of a battle content guy but figured I'd try crafting so I could participate in ishgard stuff, any tips on how to cularian would be much appreciated

Sounds like you probably haven't done any of the class quests, so, probably you're missing important bits.

Hi! That skill is learned when you complete the Crafter class quests "Trained Eye"
You'll also learn a passive and some other skills that will greatly help with crafting as you complete them.

I've done up to lvl 57 or 58 quest which ever it is, plus my gear is the HQ i460 stuff, left and right side.

You unlock it by completing the level 80 class quest for your crafter

Whoa there little guy first there is no button that HQ's items instantly unless your doing a craft thats far below your level. HQ is achieved by putting the right combination of skills togather too get Quality to 100%. Now that must be done without running out of Durablity or CP while keeping enough remaining to finish the craft. that auto HQ skill only work for recipe that 10 level below you, aka outdate content, it won't work for anything come out in this shadowbringer xpac

Theres a solid guide or two floating around, but it looks like the one I have been giving to people is no longer working correctly.
