Is it possible to see if you have duplicate items in different locations; say you accidentally put gathering mats in your personal inventory, multiple retainers and chocobo saddlebag? If not, would it take too much time from the development team to implement a system that can?
I did a quick google search, and didn't see anything relevant.
If you right click an item and select 'search for item' and it'll list all the places in your various inventories that items exists, and how many in each.
And if you know you have something but dont know where, you can use the command /isearch item. Put part of the item name there instead of the word item. It should list all the items you own with that name string, then you can right click and search for where they are in your inventory/retainers/etc.
