Unexpected Error Crash

Upon using the World Visit system to visit another server on the Primal Datacenter, while loading into the new World, my game froze. I had to initiate a force-close through Task Manager, and now when I log into my character, the game freezes again and gives me an error stating "An Unexpected error has occurred, and the game will now close (17)". I have never had issues before, and so my thinking is it has to do with something that occurred during my World Visit transfer? Appreciate the assistance.

Apologizes. Error corrected itself upon switching to DirectX9. Have not tried DirectX11 yet to see if it'll freeze again

Does this issue occur on more than one character? Outside of switching to DirectX9, what else have you tried to alleviate the issue? Could you also provide system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
