Level 60 DOH help

Hello all, returning player here. I've recently discovered the Ishgard restoration and need a bit of advice. It's been a couple years since I've done any crafting and I'm a bit lost on new skills and stat requirements for guaranteed collectability ratings. All the websites I've visited are set up for Shadowbringers/lvl 80.

All of my DOH are level 60 with most class skills at that level. My Dil are all higher than 60 so I can gather everything needed to make stat food as needed. Could someone please tell me the minimum stat requirement and a general rotation to guarantee 300 collectability at level 60?

You are probably going to ahve to work that out for yourself. All my DoH/DoL were 80 before the Ishgardian Restoration came along.

That said, you do have the tools you need to craft them yourself. If you are missing any skills, go back and complete the Class Quests in the class(es) you are missing the skills from.

Level 60 recipes are 956 Progress, 15702 Quality (so 1570 Collectability), 60 Durability.

Do a throw-away craft. See what Progress you get after doing Name of the Elements, Brand of the Elements x3, and a Basic Synthesis. I have not personally messed around with Brand/Name in ages, and so it might have changed, but if you are going to use them, you want to use them before you add any Progress to the craft.

Knowing how much Progress you get form those, as well as how much CP gets used, allows you to determine how many steps you need to finish it. And that, in turn, allows you to determine how much CP you need to spend on restoring/saving Durability, as well as making Touch actions.

Within those limits, do the standard “Fill Progress until next Basic synthesis will finish, fill with as much Quality as possible, then finish craft” routine. Your stats will determine what you can accomplish.

Thank you Roth. Could you please suggest a general min stat point for craftsmanship ad control? I'm currently able to reliably get ~200 on collectibility with the gear (<60) and macro I have now, but haven't been able to find a source for recommended base craftsmanship and control at 60 from which to build another rotation.

I just did the level 60 Ishgard items on one of my alts, whose jobs were in the 61-64 range. She's leveled up and upgraded gear since so I don't know what her stats were at the time. I think I remember total CP being 385 on my non-specialists but I'm not positive.

I was using the Handmasters scrip accessories, Chimerical Felt Doublet of Crafting (NQ). Ironworks Cap of Crafting (NQ) and a random mix of level 54-60 gear in the remaining slots. All primary tools were level 57. Items that could be melded were melded with Cunning > Command. On the items where i could only add 1-2 additional CP, I would meld for control in the socket then overmeld to get the last CP. Otherwise, I put CP in the socket and added a Command III for one overmeld since I already had several and they're cheap. For food I was using NQ Beet Soup.

At level 61, I was getting 700-1000 rating pretty consistently. I started with Muscle Memory > Inner Quiet >Waste Not II. I would use Basic Synthesis on Normal/Poor Conditions until I was one Synthesis step from completion and Precise Touch when Good. I used Master's Mend to restore durability after Waste Not expired. If I remember correctly, I would get 5 Basic/Precise Touch actions (6 on my specialists) plus had enough excess durability to squeeze in 2 Hasty Touches until I was down to 74 CP or slightly over. I finished with Great Strides, Innovation and Byregot's Blessing then a final Basic Synthesis.

As long as your gear is all at least level 60, you shouldn't have any problems with minimum craftsmanship. From there, meld to max out CP then add on what control is comfortable for your budget.

This is the most important part. Craftsmanship is handled by the gear (usually HQ gear), Maxing out CP will be THE most important thing. Getting +4 or +8 control on a piece of gear is mostly for fluff since that usually cant make or break a craft.

Also (since I cant link out to other site here) check out Teamcraft (just google "FFXIV Teamcraft") you can put in your level and stats and whatever food you want and HQ materials and then you can run through rotations in a simulator instead of potentially wasting materials in game.

Pro tip:

Blood Bouillabaisse is rather broken as to CPs. HQ or NQ both give +26% with HQ giving a higher max which you don't need. NQ is available from a vendor in the Crystarium.
