Hi, I'm not super new, but recently bought a story skip for an alt character, spent pretty much all today getting to Second Storm Lieutenant so I can unlock hunts, more specifically clan hunts, but the quest is not showing up, and I do not have it listed in my completed or pending log as far as I can tell. I have looked up the requirements for it and where to find it, and as far as I can tell, I meet all requirements, but the quest is not showing, any thoughts or should I put in a ticket?

Now that you have the GC Hunts unlocked, you can now unlock the Hunt in the expansion areas as well which offer even better rewards (Ishgard, Kugane and the Crystarium), as each needs to be unlocked seperately and also have their own currency rewarded and seperate rewards (the Ishgard and Kugane/Rhalgr's Reach ones share their currency though but the npcs offer different rewards).
I met the same problem just now.
I think this may have been merged into the military rank promotion, but they didn't delete the assignment. O_o
Ah, I made a mistake.
I tried again and it turned out that my rank was not reached.
After upgrading the rank it seems to be fine.
I'm moron, too.
