Can we port "Resolution" from FFXI to FFXIV's DRK?

Can see this happen as a combo finisher / big GCD (bigger than Spiller) in 6.x or 7.x, likely modified effects though to have dark or red slashing afterimages to fit the design of current skills.
the animation is really cool but is almost 4s long, most skills will cut it complety before it ends. well is basically what current DRK is, a bunch of animations that are cutted by the oGCD "looking at you bloodspiller/soul eater" but it could be cool is the 4 first swings are a GCD and the last swing a oGCD that need to be chained with resolution. the other problem i see is the moon icon that is already present on samurai here but it would be nice if they replace it with edgy dark effects.
Resolution would be great! Could do it like monks 6 sided star if the potency is worth it. Or “tornado kick” to burn of a haste stack from something akin to greased lightning.
I’m not sure if the monk fans view greased lightning as an outdated mechanic for monk but it could be interesting for DRK seeing how there have been many complaints about DRK having lost its haste.
I’m surprised they haven’t added last resort.
I want our original Reprisal back, the counterattack. Call it Retribution.
I love how each race has their own animations. Wish we could get that in XIV.
I'm really not seeing why Edge of Halone needs to come along.
