JSE/upgraded JSE QoL

Job specific equipment needs some love. A lot of it looks nice and dyes well (after you get the upgrades) but with the game growing ever larger, my retainer inventory shrinks. With the added slots we got to the glamour dresser in 5.0 it certainly helped, but there are so many armors that look good and are worth keeping Simply due to people not running that content or the items rarity / market price. Only 1 set of JSE is able to be put into the Armoire, the 45-50 set you get very early on in the game. The armoire is not used for much, event armor and that 1 set it seems is the only use it has at the moment. Allow us to put the JSE in their, even if only the upgraded variant. The armor becomes obsolete within days after its obtained and outside of glamour (which it's locked to one job) makes it very limited use in that front. Allowing us to store it in the armoire would be a great boon to many players. There is already a warning stating you'll lose spiritbond, reset condition, and remove any customization, there seems to be no reason why allowing that armor to be placed in the armoire would be a problem for the game at all.

God, please. It'd free up so much space in both inventory and glam chest if I didn't have to throw all the AF/JSE I like into them or my retainers. I never understood why you couldn't put the 60/70/80 sets in there.

Yes please. It's very much needed.

Because the original AF set is quested where as the AF1.5/AF2 sets were bought using seals/tomes/other currency and so could be gained repeatedly, hence SE's idea was if you weren't using it you were meant to literally throw it away and then get another set later. As AF1 originally had no way of regaining it, hence it was available to be stored in the armorie (much later it was made available to be regained from the Calamity Salvager if you throw it away, but originally that was not the case).

And storing gear in the armoire isn't actually storing it at all, in that it does not work like your inventory/retainers. When an item is moved to the armorie the game is literally deleting it completely, but flagging it for restoration when you want to remove it (this is why it resets all values associated with it to default, such as Spiritbond, Condition and Company Crests). Hence why only a limited number of items work with it, it's deliberate to reduce errors creeping in.

So it's restricted to only special gear that is usually quested or gained through once-only rewards and is not something you can regain at a later date anyway.

So armor that is meant to be thrown away, and not used for anything more than glamour shouldn't be able to be stored in a place that it can be used for glamour even if the armor is "removed" from the game? That makes zero sense, because all those event armor that get stored serve LITERALLY that same purpose, and as you said, they are re-purchasable SHOULD something happen to them with a bug. It just makes no sense any way I've sliced it or seen it sliced why they avoid allowing JSE in the armoire. At least in the armoire they serve more purpose than on the Calamity Salvager. Because with one it is readily available for glamouring.
