FATAL DirectX Error

I was mid raid when I randomly received said Fatal DirectX error and crashed. Like the others I got random screen splotches that look like colorful rectangular confetti. After FFXIV exited out, I'd still get some random graphics glitches on other on FFXIV stuff like chrome or even the Windows Start Menu. Yesterday I tried tinkering around with it, deleting and redownloading graphics drivers, FFXIV the game itself, checking DirectX if corrupted, changing to DX9, changing to an older version of Radeon Settings, a different character, and sometimes I'd crash and get the DirectX error even before the ESRB rating would show up. Beforehand I'd almost exclusively crash right after I select my character. I'd still crash before anything ingame would render though. Any ideas? I don't know how to do that log thing everyone posts but my setup is as follows:

• 16 gb ram ripjaw
• 1 ssd 2 hdd
• evga 650w gq gold 80+
• cooler master 212 evo

When exactly did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

You can generate a Final Fantasy XIV system report simply by going to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.' Please provide this information in your next post.

Hello, it started happening like two days ago. I did swap out a new PSU like a few days prior to that but I played a day or so just fine before I started encountering this issue. Other games and graphics in general are just fine and I'm at barely over 50% wattage usage so I feel like that can't be the issue. Aside from that, nothing really.

On second thought, now that I've seen it for the first time too, I notice it says fatal directx error even for google chrome? Does that elucidate this in anyway? As of now and before, I haven't really had any errors on chrome specifically although after crashing on ffxiv, I did mention how youtube videos would black out a bit too. And there's the usual confetti. Any ideas?

Just kidding on second thought applies to other games too maybe? Other game, namely league of legends crashed but I didn't see anything bout directx this time.
