[SUGGESTION]: Expansion of companions for solo battle/fate activity

I am really hoping that this location is suitable to get attention from SE personnel regarding in-game content; nothing else seemed quite as appropriate.

Anyway, longtime player here, and I am very happy with FFXIV in general. I am sure I'm not alone, however, in finding open-world leveling of jobs that aren't used to progress MSQ a long and arduous process.

Since we have such an abundance of mounts and the system already built to have a chocobo companion, I would suggest expanding upon this and allowing some variation by means of other mounts. For example, using the Magitek Armor mount as a companion that you can use while actually mounted. As it goes up in level, you could increase the number of functions you could use like elemental beams, healing effects, shields, etc. This would permit a lot of variation and add some interest/investment in mounts while leveling.

Other ideas:
Ahriman/spellcasting
Coeurl/ninja/rogue-type
goobbue/melee tank

The baseline has been established by the chocobo companion, and it would allow for a greater sense of growth (and preventing waste of those weekly challenge log bonuses for a while at least :p)
