Please slow down the notes where have to press, hold, or press rapid for hits. If lag a bunch you miss and if have bad hands makes it very hard when have whole bunch just pop one right after another. Please add another type of quest for those that can't do one you have for it.
The minigame is client side. At least it was last year, haven't gotten to it this year yet. Internet lag shouldn't be an issue.
Disclaimer: I have good hands and play on controller, but here are some things that have helped me on the choir minigame so far:
For the yellows, it helps me to mash multiple buttons.
For the reds it helps me to look at the screen and release slightly early to avoid a late release miss.
For blues the trick for me was to watch the screen carefully to make sure that I didn't miss an upcoming note but time the presses based on the audio.
You don't need a perfect score to succeed but if things are going badly you can quit early to retry faster.
So far I have gotten 9/9 on saturnine but I am still working on splendiferous.
Heard others that is having same problems with lag causing you fail on most of them. I already tried doing it 15 times and 99% of them says miss. I know my ping is close to 200.
The people I have came across saying they were missing notes because of lag or something, after explaining how they needed to hit each note and when, the lag excuse ceased. They saw their timing was way off. And yeah, it's a client side minigame not server side. It doesn't use pings good or bad. Also are you doing the easier one or the hard mode?
