I'm working on my ARR Bard relic, on the Novus to Nexus step. I got it soulglazed, got my handy dandy Zodiac glass. I've run Garuda EX 5 times with my bow soulglazed Novus bow equipped and gotten the message each time that it glows with a gentle light. When I go to check my bow with the glass, all I get is a message that there is no activity. shouldn't I be somewhat along?
I recommend spamming Satasha, because you either get bright or brilliant. Well.... I think it depends on if the bonus window is up in order to get the brilliant. Correct me if i'm wrong or not.
but shouldn't I be getting at least the first message? after 5 runs of Garuda EX?
Is it about difficulty, or the number of enemies defeated?
garuda ex gives a little amount of light, i suggest go for tamtara deepcroft. Keep doing it and it will be done in a few hours.

Yeah, gentle is just a super low amount of light. Youll get there, just keep at it.
"No activity" means less than 200 of the 2000 light required is farmed yet. Every 200 light the message you get when looking at your Zodiac bong changes.
Every Light level gives a different amount of light points. You need to reach 2000 points to finish the step, and the indicator changes every 200 points. Every 2 hours some activities gets a bonus giving more light. Afaik this isn't tracked anymore, but you can just mix it up once in a while to check.

Oddly, tam tara gives more light than garuda ex, so its probably the fast light farm method.
You still gotta buckle up though, it'll take a minute regardless of method
