Yup. The Moonlift Dance is better though, keep going and finish all of the Beast Tribes in Heavensward!
I like it. A cute little birdie lol
I hate to be demeaning to whoever made the female one, but Jesus it looks so lifeless. Compared to the male one there's hardly any movement on the legs, just tapping when compared to the males wide stomping, and that with the arms having so much movement don't pair well at all in my opinion.
the explanation is pretty simple: the sundrop dance is based on the Maori haka (war)dances, were the female versions are.. less expressive as well.
On a side note, it's the opposite for the moogle dance, were the female version is the more expressive one.
There was a thread for this back when the tribe was new, and people were getting around to unlocking it. As already mentioned by another post, this dance is based off an actual one, so don't fault the devs on sticking to accuracy here. You can, however, fault them on not making both the female and male dance available to us, regardless of gender.
The haka for women is more expressive than what we got in game mostly due to the use of voice, which we don't get. Personally I think both male and female sundrop dances are missing a lot of intensity/energy in general.

Just saw the video AmemeAmeklin posted and the difference really fits the inspiration!
It's been a while but isn't Linu Vali female? Doesn't she dance the male version the same as the male Vanu Vanu?
It would be nice having the two versions for the same character.
