Advanced Item search filtering

Hello SE & Community,

I wonder still why after almost 2 years after the release of the first beta you still haven't implemented a search and filtering function for the wards.

Search by a custom string wouldn't even be such a big request, but more likely the filtering function.

Idea's on the filtering would be
• Only equipable for my current Class(Job)/level (checkbox)
• Level ranges (Any, 01-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50) (multiple checkboxes)
• Item is Unique (checkbox)
• Item is a Set-item (for example a Templar's item) Checkbox
• Suits Battle classes (GLA, MRD, LNC, PGL, ARC) (multiple checkboxes)
• Suits Magic classes (THM, CNJ) (multiple checkboxes)
• Suits Battle jobs (PLD, WAR, DRG, MNK, BRD) (multiple checkboxes)
• Suits Magic jobs (BLM, WHM) (multiple checkboxes)
• Suits DoL jobs (MNR, FSH, BTN) (multiple checkboxes)
• Suits DoH jobs (ALC, CUL, CRP, LTW, BSM, ARM, GSM) (multiple checkboxes)
• Materia subfiltering (2 step system): (Drop-down boxes)

- Stat influenced (let's say HP)

… The next drop down-box will be ungrayed

- Select materia (Bloodthirst I, Bloodthirst II etc., Lifethirst I, Lifethirst II etc.) (lets choose Bloodthirst IV

… The next drop-down box will be ungrayed

- Select a value on the materia (55, 60, 65, 70)

The materia sub filtering would especially handy because I always search for the best version of the materia, but that one is mostly kicked out of the default top results list..

Also please try to program the wards this way that you can keep browsing after a purchase (do it in background or something) but we can still continue browsing instead of waiting 10-40 seconds each time ;).

I like this. It sounds similar to the Party Search UI.

Hah! I'd be happy if all I could do sort by level and filter by equip slots, but if they did all you're asking for, then all the better!

I like it so far, but rather than

Why not just
• Suits Battle classes (GLA, MRD, LNC, PGL, ARC) (multiple checkboxes)
• Suits Magic classes (THM, CNJ) (multiple checkboxes)
• Suits the job(s) associated with the selected class(es)

It's eight checkboxes, rather than fourteen. ^^

Also, for searching materia (not materia'd items), I'd also like to be able to filter by the slot I can meld to.

EDIT: While I'm on it, what about toggles for showing only +1 items, or only melded items?
