GARO mounts

I completed 2 of the PVP mount achievements for the GARO event, but I didn't have a chance to claim them before the official end of the event. I checked the Calamity Salvager and Jonathas and don't see the item claims. Can I still get my earned mounts?

No, the event ended and you will not get the mounts anymore, even with the completed achievments.

Well that is incredibly disappointing. Especially since I can still repurchase the GARO gear that I had unlocked. It feels like it should be doable to keep the items available even if they can no longer be earned. :/
