Couldn't find a place to do this otherwise so best fit is General! I just wanted to say I absolutely LOVE the new launcher. I didn't see it sooner as I was away from PC (so boring...) but when I logged in today and saw that new launcher I am extremely pleased with the design. I hope it stays this way now! (Well of course until the next Expansion where the images always change) Nothing significant maybe, but it needed to be said. Well done SE!
I also like the new look and the possibilities for the future it offers. I think it would be neat to offer some themes for the launcher such as a city theme (Gridania, Uldah, Limsa, etc.) as well as an expansion theme of the players choice. They could roll them out one at a time via the patches. A little personalization goes a long way :)
I'm not sure what the difference is with the new one. It was too bright to look at for long, so I switched to the old dark one.
I like the new one.
I just want a dark mode. The rest of the launcher is well designed but a dark mode would be well appreciated. Heck, a dark mode for the forums would be appreciated as well.
I liked the rounded edges the old one had as well as its dark nature. The current one is very bright and the flat box look makes the whole thing feel kind of...plain. All that said, it's bigger and thus has the capacity to show more information - that's good at least.
If they rounded the edges again and gave us a dark mode, I'd be all for it.

I love the new launcher design as well :D
People act like they have to suffer through staring it at it for more than 10 seconds. I think it looks nicer. Looking at the same launcher for like 6 years was feeling a bit outdated.
I didn't like it so I changed back to old style one. Really didn't like that white color to it. Maybe if it was black or dark purple color I would still used it.
