5.1 Patch Notes (Blue Mage)

Which is supposed to be correct here?

Eruption
- Patch notes state Eruption went from 220 to 300 potency.
- In-game tooltip states Eruption is 400 potency with a 50% falloff damage, similar to Shock Strike's note in the patch notes.

The in-game damage is supporting the patch notes, including the lack of falloff damage (each target is taking the same amount of damage). Eruption is several hundred points of damage less than Shock Strike is doing on a Lv 50 training dummy, meaning non-crit, non-direct hit damage.
