ARR Sightseeing log issues with 5.0

1.0 Legacy player. I just started working on the sightseeing log. New zones seem to be working just fine. The original ARR zones are more tricky. Luckily, they have been around for long enough that there are MANY resources and videos on how to find them. The problem however, is that I'm running into many where I appear to meet all the conditions, and do not get the vista chat announcement.

Examples:
U'Ghamaro Mines: Iron Lake @ Outer La Noscea (x23,y11)

Correct time of day, correct weather, dismissed companion.

Similarly for this one:
Vesper Bay @ Western Thanalan (x12,y14)

Correct weather, correct time of day.

I noticed on this one: Nine Ivies - Little Solace @ East Shroud (x22,y26)
The Z co-ordinate seems to have moved up, just a little bit. I was finally able to get it, but I had to be higher than many videos and screenshots posted from earlier versions of the game.

I can provide about a half dozen more I've tried over a couple days and although all criterion appear met, i'm not getting the notification.

Additional things I try:
- Look all around in all directions.
- Zoom in, zoom out, First person, third person.
- Switch to an ARR class instead of a new one.
- Dismiss Chocobo mount
- Zone out and back in
- Jump, lots of jumping
- Approach vista from another angle, not mounted (when possible)

I'm perfectly find with user error and I did something wrong, but there are too many of these not working for me.

And I figured it out... You must complete 1-20 first.

Yeah, the ARR Log is super finicky.

Yeah, for arr, 1-20 completion is required before unlocking 21-80.

I'm trying to figure out how you being a 1.0 legacy player has any relevance to this subject.

Could be they thought it may only affect legacy characters. Sometimes things are buggy like that. Also, no one serious brags about being a 1.0 player, it was a time of suffering.

To add to your list... not all use /lookout. Some use /pray. Honestly can't remember if there are others.
