The last battle with Zenos is really giving me trouble. I am ok with the mechanics - i just cant seem to be fast enough. The part where Zenos thows out 3 swords and you have to kill them before the timer runs out i just cant get past it. I have tried with my 70 BRD and also 70 NIN, both have materia and at least 385 gear. Is there a secret??? What happens if i pay the $ to complete Stormblood???
if you have 385 melded gear and you cannot beat the dps check - you are doing something fundamentally wrong with your dps rotation. look up some guides for bard and ninja then revisit the encounter.
for bard - are you dotting the swords? are your songs active?
for ninja - are you doing your combo correctly? are you doing your mudras correctly?
That's fight is pretty harsh DPS check but it's definitely doable with that gear level. If you haven't been, try saving your CDs for the sword phase.
If you keep trying, you also get a buff that makes you stronger on the third attempt. And a stronger version for the fourth and so on.
