When will the 5.0 Relic weapon series begin?

When do you think we’ll hear about the new relic series?

Probably at 5.15 like usually always happen ( 2.15 / 3.15 / 4.15 ).

Leaning towards 5.25 but we'll see.

Will depend on what it is tied to.

If tied to a basic questline with a lot of tomestone/dungeon/fate grinding expect around 5.15.


If tied to something like Eureka expect 5.25.


If tied to both(Who knows atm) expect 5.25.

Probably 5.25 if they're doing something like Eureka again, which they mentioned they might.

I just hope the final versions of the weapons look better than last time.

I'd love to say that's true, but we didn't get relic until much later due to delays with Eureka last expansion. It was 4.25. Which the delaying of the content is a one of the reasons why people weren't exactly happy with how Eureka turned out... waited almost 2 whole patches and almost an entire year just for it to be a wide range of emotions from people actively despising it, people thinking "meh", to people slagging off people who disliked it because they thought it was good/great. At least, that's how I see it.

Have they even mentioned Relics at all for Shadowbringers? I remember Anima being mentioned in the lead up to Heavensward, and there was certainly a slide for Eureka in pre-Stormblood release events. I can't seem to recall a single thing about Shadowbringers Relics, though.

I just barely finished my Terpander Lux as a returning casual player. Was a pain.

Will doing it with the rest of you fine folks make it easier?

They did mention they're planning a Eureka like content for 5.0. As for the relic, last thing Yoshi P said is that they haven't decided yet which path it would be.

Should be 5.1 (Eureka was in the 5.2 Era because it was delayed twice, and its HOPEFULLY not being tied to that side-system again), but who knows, its one of the places they arent good at being consistent.
