Help please?

well i dunno where else to put this so here goes.

im leveling my chokobo above lvl 10 and so fare so good but now this time for some reason that i cannot figure out it wont eat the onion and unlock next lvl cap.

as always ive capped the xp.
i have summoned the mount.
usually i feed it and it unlocks next lvl, this wont happen now and i dunno why, please help.

its lvl 13, trying to unlock lvl 14.

If memory serves me right, your chocobo needs at least one kill to validate the capped xp before accepting the onion. Try take him out in the overworld for one fight and see what happens.

Right. The onion raises the MAX rank, not the CURRENT one. So if its EXP is at the max for a rank, you need to get EXP to reach the next rank BEFORE using the onion.

One more point. You said you "summoned the mount". To be clear, you mean you brought out your companion right? Because he/she will only eat if theyre out in their combat mode - being summoned as a mount doesnt count.
