Airship stations, will it be used in the current version?

Will the actual airship stations around Eorzea be used anytime in the FFXIV current version before 2.0? or it will after 2.0 ?

I'm wondering the same, as well as the Auction Houses. I found the Auction House in Limsa behind a closed door. I know its the Auction house because it has the FFXI Auction House sign above the door.

the npc outside the door makes a comic reference, the AH was never intended to be used when they put it in.
