Dyes are way too common.

It's ridiculous to get dyes 5 out of 8 times per spot almost every time I try to harvest other mats :mad:
Most of the dyes aren't even used anymore. Not for the low amount of dyeable gear available at least :(

Its not about how much you use dyes really, its about the fact you can't gather what you are looking for.

I think SE need to revise harvesting, quarrying and spear-fishing so gatherers can target what we are after.

If I do barely 10 ten nodes, I'll have 50 dyes already and barely anything else. If I do a 100 nodes for a day gathering, that's 500dyes. Are you saying you're dyeing more than that and even get those items sold (considering other people would be dying that much too then)?

I'm lucky if I could get almonds once every 3 nodes. That's ridiculous for a basic food any dd mage would want at 50.

Agreed. Dyes are too common drops. At least considering the amount of use for them.

Then again, even if we were able to dye every possible gear with any colour we desired, i'd still think they're bit too common.

Such a thread has already been made by Hiiri if i remember correctly. Pictures of proof were posted and a dev response was made in agreement that dyes are too plentiful in the upper grades of gathering. It was mentioned that this will be adjusted.

Yes already reported by me but more complains wont be bad maybe this goes up a bit in their to do list ;)

Well they haven't adjusted it yet, so we got to keep poking them where we can :D

It's a problem for all grades though, not just grade 5.
