inventory and bait

Hello everyone, I easily spend 70% of the game on my fisherman, big problem, we get to 3 inventory pages filled just with the bait. A few things really need to be done about it....

Depends on your fishing goals. I'm in the "don't keep it if you can buy it back from NPC vendor" camp at this point. If you're targeting something in particular, go grab the appropriate bait when you need it. I'll only keep what can't be bought, except maybe the "most recent" bait if I'm still leveling.

But, I'm not someone that spends 70% of their play time fishing.

I recently realized I hadnt used 90% of my baits and lures since many levels ago so I cleaned them out.

The chocobo saddlebags are perfect for fishing tackle, since it is designed to hold items you only occasionally need access to but would want access to anywhere rather than at a summoning bell.. A dedicated tackle box would be better, obviously, but the saddlebags serve as a great substitute without it.

That would work if the baits in the choco bag showed up in your tackle box, so you could use them without having to move them to your personal bag first.

I'd rather they just eliminate many of the baits, and just have one per zone at most.

Almost all ARR fish can be caught using one of two baits now. Check out the boilies.
This should help a lot of the lower level issues.

Again, those bait are not useful if you're trying to catch specific fish for leve turn-ins.

Or to desynth for swimsuits.

I just throw it all away until I need it again. Problem solved. I don't fish near enough to keep bait on hand. Even bait that requires scrps I'll just go and rebuy. So much better than having my inventory filled with bait. Now I just need to clean out all my crafting supplies. I have hundreds of leathers, pelts and God knows what in my inventory slots that I never use. I'm seriously thinking about having a garage sell. Everything must go and then just start over lol. It's just getting too annoying having 4 retainers and NO room.

Or se finally dös what makes Sense and adds container boxes that work like sub inventories to reduce the like 50 plus slots of bait literally into just 1 single Iren to open up to get to See the 50 baust that Are containted in that box that requires only 1 inventories Slot.

This way you can have slawischen all your baust with you, while only 1 Single Iren Slot is used up.

Same should be done with similarity items, like Materials, colors ext
