HELP

I fractured my right shoulder last month in 3 places, so have been unable to play except for gathering / crafting and Gold Saucer stuff. With the moogle event coming up, I'm basically SOL. I've tried to hook up a PDP X-BOX 1 controller ( my brothers he threw away the manual ) I have NO IDEA how to configure the controller or what exactly the buttons do. I only ever used a controller when the original FINAL FANTASY was on Nintendo. I've looked on you tube with no luck, does any one have any suggestions where I could look to see what the buttons are and what to do ?:(

you assign actions to each of the buttons?
