It's quite a minute problem, but it does annoy me that the counter for how long Living Shadow is up starts right from the animation, which wastes quite a few seconds doing that rez-like anim and losing out on damage.
I feel like I would be less bothered if the tooltip didnt say it lasts for "24 seconds" when in reality Esteem is only around for like 17 seconds to do actual damage.
It doesn't lie though. That the shadow doesn't do anything for the first few seconds is irrelevant to it having been conjured. It's better to start the timer on activation than wait for an undisclosed amount of time just for the sake of having the timer line up with the shadow's non-idle period.
The timer doesn't bother me. It's just a number. Changing the number doesn't change anything about the actual skill.
What does bother me is the long casting animation. You have to plan too much ahead for this, especially for burst phases or when adds spawn, and the skill is basically useless for things like my daylie hunt and other solo stuff, the things are already dead when the shadow starts attacking.
it bother me more the fact that the combat dev team request a new UI element to the UI dev team and don't properly use it leaving living shadow complety disconected of the rest of the kit with darkside having the same problem making it a complety waste of time and resources, probably living shadow and darkside have other purposes but we never know.
Make Living shadow also as a support ability to Living dead: cd refresh if Walking dead is activated, and make Fray sacrifice if WD is not healed fully.
