Alternative Way to Destroy Linkshell?

Back when XIV first launched, a decent chunk of my XI linkshell transferred over and started using our XI's linkshell's name. Since we didn't all enjoy it, a few of us petered out and eventually came back. One of those was the LS Master who unfortunately forgot his login ID and wasn't able to recover it. So now we have our original shell stuck in limbo that we can neither use effectively nor destroy. Is there an alternative way to get this linkshell destroyed? The Master of that LS is now playing on a new (and similarly named) character, and we still have a few people who are Leaders in it but I don't think there's any way for them to have it broken since they are not the Master. I've tried using the SE website support and contacting a GM in game both, but neither have been helpful at all, both referring me to use the other to solve my problem.

We'd like to be able to have it broken for personal use again, but if nothing else, allowing some else to use it. Any help and/or ideas?

Sorry to hear of your troubles, As your aware the whole Linkshell situation is very broken, and worthless as is. (The only good thing with linkshells from XI to XIV is the fact you can talk in multiple linkshells at the same time easily now). Theres alot they need to do with Linkshells. However the MAIN things they need to do ASAP is:

*Allow you to give offline people ranks
*Allow you to remove offline people

I find it pretty silly I cant give my alts Officer status because I cannot login to both of them at the same time, or kick those who have not logged in in months and are not returning to the game ever.. Lots of dead characters in the LS with my alts having no officer status... /sigh
