5.08 - Steam + PC keys; can you have Steam AND Pc keys registered to the mog station?

I like many others have been affected by the Steam key patch in 5.08 which prevents users from playing the PC cd keys via the Steam client. My main issue with this is i can no longer play FFXIV via my Steam Link in another room.

I am happy to buy a steam version of the game and expansions and register to my mog station, so in essence i would have both the PC client and Steam client registered to my SE account.
Is this possible? or does the mog station only allow you to register one or the other?
