Is there a way to Parley outside of quests?
If I remember correctly there's 1 npc in each town that you can parley with. It seem like the point was to bet an item and get a specific reward when you win the parley but last time I check, the only parley available had no reward(the reward was the item you were betting).
The npc are Baterich for Ul'dah, Aubrenard for Gridania and Ansgor for Limsa Lominsa.
