Petition to have classes equip it's own job gear.

I see no reason why not. Pug needs the same stats as Mnk. So why do i need to carry MNK AF around AND PUG gear around.

I have 3 DoW classes capped with full AF and if SE is gonna keep classes around and keep them useful i want them to have gear on me. So now i have to carry two sets of gear for one class/job when AF is fine for all the classes and its jobs? I think thats a little siily no?

A little Shorter version: Let classes wear it's job gear. Ex. MRD can equip everything WAR can and vice versa. Same for all other classes and its own jobs. I am not saying let ARC equip BLM gear. Whatever job comes from that class gear should be equippable with its own class and job.

Not to mention being confusing once additional jobs are released. The system is fine the way it is.

they plan on having gear mannequins that will take the gear out of you inv. they have given us 200 inv instead of the 100-125 we will have after 2.0 so that is their temporary fix for the issue already in place.

I have on me all my af, one set for DD, one set for Tanking (enmity and hp), one for mage, the accesories and a few random equips i like. With foods and a few other things i'm at 150/200.

We have tons of inventory space now as it is. It's really not a problem. I have the af sets for all my jobs (except gld/pld), one set of gathering gear. Tools for all my crafts plus 2 sets of crafting gear, and 2 weapons per DoW and DoM, jewlery for all the classes, mats for arrows as well as arrows, and throwing weapons, flys, lures, random foods like 8 stacks ish random consumables, tons of catalysts, and all grades of Dark Matter including several stacks of Grade 5.

There is also random weaving materials I carry around. AND I still have plenty of inventory space (40 spots at the least) to farm with. Could even put items in my retainers and have more space.

Space is not an issue at all. When they remove your massive inventory, they will give you manequin's or something of the nature to store all your gear and such making it less of a burden.

Since all my classes are at 50, I just use jobs all the time. Not to mention I just carry the gear for classes/jobs I'm actually going to use. I have no intention of regularly playing either mage or Dragoon so I stashed that gear on my retainer. If I need to use it I'll go grab it, which won't be often if ever.

I've got every event item that's been released and along with everything else I'm sitting at about 250/500 total inventory.
