I haven't seen any threads about SCH issues in a while, only AST (and it's great that AST is being discussed). Have people come to accept the new normal? Are you just too tired to be upset anymore? Have you come to appreciate the changes after all? Are people accepting that AST needs changes more and putting the spotlight on them?
I still have issues with the SCH changes. Where are other people on SCH?
Have we given up on SCH?

Am I qualified to give my opinion if I don't do savage content? If so... I've always tried to adapt to the changes the devs have made to the jobs I play before being all "This sucks" about them. That being said... I still think SCH is playable but... I REALLY miss Bane. Personally I would've loved Bane back over Energy Drain. I'm also unhappy with Seraph. She really needs potency buffs in my opinion. She's cool to look at, but she's really weak for what she's supposed to be and represent in the SCH toolkit..................... In my opinion..... Also aetherflow outside of combat would be appreciated.

._. I really wish the devs would say ANYTHING. What healers really need is a voice that isn't momo. Momo, as amazing at the game as he is, only cares about optimizing, everything else is second bananas, so long as SCH can optimize and do it well, then it will be fine in his eyes, and it'll be fine in the eyes of the people who follow him, so there needs to be a voice that opposes his that says "no, SCH and the other healers AREN'T fine", but gl to anyone who attempts to get the following, heh. -

Give up? You make it sound like the class is broken beyond repair. The scholar was not in some rut. We heal and dps just fine and even got our aetherflow dump back. Is it perfect? No but I am not gonna throw a tantrum like many other people on the forums.

The only bright side to this is the Japanese forums are way more busy, and there are way more people there who are unhappy. Like a lot. I only hope the devs are staying silent cause they know they messed up, but many devs have been tone deaf in the past, and these one are no exception. -

Yes, it is one of,if not, the strongest healers atm, but your entire job is just "spam broil until tank gets big ouchie, then stop to excog or indom". Not to mention what they did to Selene, or how pointless Seraph feels, or w/e other problems scholar as that I don't feel like digging into atm because I need sleep. Are the problems as big as AST? Prolly not, doesn't mean they aren't big problems. I'd rather a class be bad, but incredibly fun and interesting to play, over one that gets the job done, but has nothing to do while doing it. Balance should come AFTER and only AFTER you've made the classes fun and unique. It should never come at the cost of what made the class fun in the first place.Quote:

Last time I didn't like the changes but I said nothing and this time they're worse. I'm worried that if we don't convince the devs that they're going down the wrong track then next expansion energy drain will be gone again, along with ruin 2, because you really only need a nuke, a DoT, and a aoe, right? We're only healers, right? Heck, we could probably live without the DoT, according to people who don't play healers.
As an addendum: I also think WHM needs work, but I think it's more egregious that they're leaving SCH in this state because they already have animations and whatnot for the moves they took, so it'd be much easier to make SCH better, even if that was just a short term fix while they worked on a bigger, better fix for 6.0.
