About the only time you can get a good look at an interesting mount is to encounter it in the field, and usually that's just a fleeting glance as one passes by. or one happens to be in some town you're visiting.
How about reserving some space in the cities where players can mount up and show what they have, and others can see them as well? Most of the cities have at least one open area that's not really being used for anything else, where this could be done without the mounts cluttering the busier areas.

How about a zoo? So you don't have to wait for other players to parade, you can just see the details etc. I've wanted to make a minion zoo at my house for ages

Being able to put down mounts and minions really made the various bases come alive and I loved going to some bases just to see people's collections. It'd be nice if we could do that here. One thing I suggested earlier was a vendor that would let you test drive ANY mount in an instanced environment. You could see how it looks under your character, run, fly around, but not actually use it to travel anywhere in the regular environment. -
