Thank You For The Rising Event *Spoilers*

This is without a doubt my favorite seasonal event. Reading all these messages from the Dev team fills me with such joy I feel like crying.

It is amazing the care and consideration you put into this game and I sincerely appreciate these events where we can interact with the Devs in this way.

The event was very touching! I liked it too :)

I wonder how many people just sped through it all for the minion and missed it ^^

For the initial quest aye. The repeatable quest that follows it is all about reading dev messages, which is what the OP is referencing.

It was really nice, but still not quite the same level of feels that the 2015 Rising was - I don't think Yoshi and SE will ever be able to top the Eighteenth Floor.

Still, this year's one was poignant and really nice. :D

I really wish they stopped doing these rng cutscenes, make it like that one winter event where you had a daily quest which always had a new scene.

Since the letters can be repeated, it might break the emotional build up. So, I read it all from http://garlandtools.org/db/#quest/69197 instead.
