Is it just me or is the opening movie bugged?

On PS4 specifically
Seems like the audio and video doesn\\'t match up in English or Japanese and gets worse as the video plays.
Anyone else notice this or am I crazy?

I noticed this too! I thought it was maybe just my connection or something. Glad to know it's not just me.

Yeah, it's pretty horrible. I wanted to show it to my friend but half-way in I decided to watch it on YouTube.

I'm on a normal PS4, not pro. I also noticed the sync being slightly off. Maybe there's a difference?

Japanese and English cinematics have different Lips syncs. You can notice it even when watching them on youtube (look closely at one fragment when someone speaks, pause the video and look at the same fragment in different dub). So since your client language is set as English, it downloaded an English version with English Lips sync but since you changed your settings to JPN dub - you hear a Japanese audio while Lip sync is for English audio.
I am quite positive that your client downloads only 1 version of cinematic, since it takes a lot of extra space on your hard drive.

I thought this might be the case so tried the cinematic in English too and its the same.

its not just the vocals - all the sound effects are not synced.

Woah... Then my apologies.
If the case is that all sounds are out if sync, then it probably will be fixed at some point.
