Seeing an insane amount of bots...

Literally seeing trains of them running non-stop 24/7 in Ul'dah from the Aetheryte crystal to the Thaymaturge's Guild.

And they're affecting the Duty server(s) to do instances. Fun waiting 6-10+ minutes to enter them Gold Saucer events...

So far i've come across them as groups of thm / blm .. They teleported etc and stopped attacking when a normal character was near.
It's hilarious to see, but i reported them and we will see if we get em all in the next banwave. Not really much we can do but just report and see..

Ban waves are absolutely useless, they only serve to deter regular players... meanwhile them gold sellers are profiting in-between them to carry on the cycle unhindered. There needs to be a more active approach of banning them on the spot. When you see a Free Company of nothing but bots you know they don't care about them ban waves.

As long as people are buying Gil from the RMT groups, it's an infinite spiral we're in.
I agree with you that ban waves are not making much of a difference, but it's all we have. RMT's will just recreate themselves as long as people are buying their product.

There are simple things they could do to at least hinder the productivity of the RMT bots, but they've let them abuse the game in the same way since the ARR days so I'm doubting anything will ever change at this point.

I'm on Adamantoise and I have to say I've seen more bots in zones in the past few days than ever before. Unlike in the past where they would come up from under the ground and then disappear again... these are all flying in the air instead. So crazy seen these trains of flying bots everywhere throughout ARR regions.

Makes me wonder why they are flying now instead of going under-ground like they used to.

Was told it's a different bot [program] to the ones you typically see underground.

I was wondering about the flying bots. First time I have seen them in 6 years of playing. I guess they have evolved from a psychic type, teleporting around, to a flying type.

I love seeing these threads. You see like three a week, and it's always from somebody on that server. Hilarious. I wonder if SE will actually do anything.
