My psn account got banned and i never got a email to why and i want to switch accounts so i can log on
And i am having a hard time to get a hold of any support
From what i can find is that se can disconnect your se and psn account but that the result would be that you lose all access to your ff14 account
So there isnt anything i can do? If i lose my osn i lose everything.... even though psn hasnt sent me a email to why i was banned at all....:c
As far as I know, this has always been a worry for PSN users.
But you can still attach a PC account, and play on PC, and retain your account. (You of course need to buy a PC, and buy the PC version, but your character and stuff remains accessible.)
Unfortunately, it seems most PCs need some level of gaming in mind, to handle FFXIV, even at the lowest settings. IDK what is best to consider the cut off point, but a friends gaming laptop pretty much runs the game at 15 frames, and sometimes single digits in 8+man fights.
So you'll need to look around to find whats the cheapest option, if you're short on cash.
Is it posible to link two plastation accounts toit at all?
Might end up doing that then....but how do i link the account to pc?
Oh so all i do is buy it then log in and i asume ill have to use the code again?
Go to mogstation in a browser and enter the code for pc version into the account info page, its not that hard to find. Then install ff14 onto a pc and just use the same login info to log into pc version as the ps4 version.
There is one detail and that is you need base game with all expansions. That means the stormblood version which includes base and the previous versions and then shadowbringers.
Do take care not to get it on steam perhaps.
