Make Main story to be available to all party members

Hi all,

please let me know if there is already an open post with what I am about to suggest, as I was unable to find one.

I had one of my friends give up on the game because for a MMORPG, the story is alot "not multiplayer". This caused him some frustration as he had to do almost everything alone and there was little I could do to help him.

I would like to suggest that anyone in the party is able to see the events the person is seeing and is also able to participate in all of the story quests, this will definately help players to help each other and will release a bit of the burden of "infinite quests till something interesting happens".

Please feel free to comment and provide your point of view, as this is merely a suggestion to help improve even further the game and lessen the burden of "over nine thousand!!!!" quests.

I would like to join OP that this game would get better replay value if the main story could be co-op at the very least for main storyline portions of the Reborn story. We had enjoyed the dungeons, the world quests, Fates, having 1 character that could do anything and everything. Easier for me to manage than 10+ characters. I only had to change equipment.

1. Group play for Main Story line from Reborn.
2. Co-op for same level characters through story line if they are on same quests. (level sync for characters different levels, like Fates do)
3. More Group play = better community and larger player base.

All 3 points are good, solid, and approachable if implemented correctly.

I have this same problem @WyvernGod. I tried playing with my husband, and he out leveled me as I slowly got tired of playing by myself and I end up slowing down when I play by myself. I tend to play healer, and he either tanks or DPS for me. I ended up playing a second class, Thaumaturge, to compliment the Conjurer as they can wear the same equipment (minus weapons). We are now unsubscribing as I mentioned my displeasure with being unable to play the game with him through the story line, and he agreed. It is one thing to go through world quests that have no real connection to each other and going through the story line together. ESO, EQ, EQII, and even WoW has better MMORPG group play through main storylines. This is including that WoW's story line is now Raid locked for much of the story and is getting very PvP-centric. I'm sure their are others I could list, but these are the ones I play the most anymore. While Final Fantasy is a love I started with Tactics and VII. I just cannot see playing this for more than a month here and there without getting frustrated with the main storyline. I know I have been told that the 2nd expansion on is much better for group play through Storyline.
