[Suggestion] Use of Potions on Our Chocobos

So, leveling my character through some FATES, I've noticed my chocobo take some hits. I had lots of healing potions but can't use them on my chocobo.

What about a way to use them?

1. The timer won't change.
2. Make a button in the Companion area for potion use.
3. It can make battles more strategic. Do you use the potion on yourself or chocobo?

What do you think? It could help make potions more viable to make and sell. As well as for those who have a short amount of time to play and need to solo on the overworld.

Well, kinda pointless imo. There is no penalty for their death outside another bit of greens to call them back. Which are dirt cheap even on a low level player's budget.

Not only as Gula said but your Chocobo can also learn some healing abilities. Sure, having potions be more viable would be cool, but its really just pointless because almost no one would even use them on their Companion anyway.

I will say that thought it is true that you can resummon your companion, it takes 8-10 seconds from death to being able to resummon it. You have to wait for the graphic to disappear as you can't resummon in that time. So that is 8-10 seconds you're squishy behind is getting hit.

Also, in regards to having yuor chocobo learn healing abilities, they are not only weak, but unless you make it a full Healing set, it's kind of pointless. Meaning if you do all Defense and some heal, it weakens the companion. Granted, I know they aren't supposed to replace another player, but making your companion just one type is better than points in all things.

There was a post about the viability of potions in FF14, and I felt using it on companions could make those items more useful.
