Why is there no Seraphic Blessing?

I understand no Fey Union / Pact for Seraph due to duration but why is Blessing just not usable at all? Is it possible to get a version for Seraph as well?

You already have a seraphic blessing, is called Consolation

Still, why not have it be available as well? Why just have it get grayed out? That's also not really what I'm asking about. Considering that the wording of the gauge skills just says a "faerie", shouldn't Seraph also be able to execute them?

This is similar to the weirdness with Recitation only working on "some" things that consume resources like aetherflow stacks imo.

Thinking about it more, Seraph as a parallel to Firebird/Phoenix and Bahamut is similar in this case with the Enkindle being replaced but then Seraph is also able to use Whispering + Illumination so it's a little odd imo that it can't use gauge from the faerie meter.. after all she kinda takes it over, so why do all the skills that involve it just get grayed out?

The feeling I get is that they only do the icon swap thing with actions that share cooldowns. My guess is that Consolation is designed to be able to be used twice while Seraph is up, while Fey Blessing has a far longer cooldown. Hence, they can't share the same button.

being able to use blessing during seraph would be nice its very annoying how many of our skills disable others

DRG have Geirskogul on a 30 sec CD that change into Nastrond on a 10 sec CD. AST have Earthly Star on a 60 sec CD that is independent from Stellar Detonation's trigger time. I don't know what the limitations are, but the CDs don't look like one.

I think it's by design, not because of limitations. Losing access to fey blessing, fey union, and dissipation for 20 seconds is the consequence of summoning seraph. I think it's fine the way it is. Maybe SE thought that seraph was a powerful enough cooldown that it warranted having these (minor) limitations on it.

i feel like having to deal with it casting seraphic veil and dealing with fairy skill delay and it potentially just not using cds is enough of a down side we dont really need other limitations itd be nice if i could end it early with a dissipation

This is my biggest issue with SCH.

We have a ton of abilities, but most of it is behind something that needs to be active for them to be useable which, when activated, at times disables some of our other abilities. Its crazy.
