Down with Down for the Count
The L70 GNB quest needs fixing. The liberal dosing of "you're helpless" from the suspension devices was one thing, but the nearly 30s of Down for the Count for the shield was flat out egregious.
If you are L70 you have very likely done Nidhogg et al, you understand "get in the shield". Or you need to die a few times to the telegraphed deathblow that's coming. As it was, what I recall from Steel Against Steel wasn't the climactic fight.
It was that my character, who had kicked the ass of the entire MSQ, was locked down like a helpless little thing for an absurd amount of time. Why? This scripted sequence for nothing but to get my companions out of the fight. I don't care if the big bad is out of the ring and untargettable.
YOU DO NOT LOCK ME DOWN. If I can't figure out that I need to be in the shiny shield bubble I should have seen a dozen times by now, it is MY problem.
