Instance Del Sol?

Is anybody else finding it essentially impossible to attempt the jumping puzzle at the Moonfire Faire past the NPC this year? I feel like my old 'bunny' hop has been neutered to start with, but the sheer load of everyone attempting the tower-with all their pets, and all these companion chocobos summoned and hanging around-the lag is SUPER intense! I usually enjoy an average of over 40 fps, but I can't seem to go past 8 fps on this tower. I really wish that they could continue the 'instanced zone' feature implemented at the launch of the expansion for zones experiencing heavy character load. Anyone else with me?

Is there any point in continuing after the NPC? It's not like you get anything extra.

I did it as soon as it was available, so with less lag, having higher average FPS, and jumping puzzle experience helped me get all the new items without falling off at all. Though it was super busy already at like 2am MDT, so I can only imagine what it's like during prime time.

I would suggest waiting until off hours or wait until later in the event when all the crowds go away, if you really can't get much done with the current state of it.

I hear you get a heaping helping of "sense of accomplishment". Which is cool. It's rare to see people doing things just because they enjoy it in mmos.

Ideally the instancing would be automatic anywhere it's needed.

Whilst I may be a cat I think my size and using only two feet has negated any ancestral super dexterity and ability to leap well. Suffice to say I am pleased that SE limit these jumping abominations to optional content unlike other games I can mention - GW2 I'm looking at you.

We've got BLU now. Just self destruct and get raised to victory. =p

Jumping to the top while people have Chocobos out and other people are hopping around you is annoying, but doable. But most definitely wait a week or so if you want an easier experience.

Not to go off on a tangent here, but it's funny that you mention GW2. Its jumping puzzles are more complex, but jumping in that game is so much more precise and easy -- unless you're also a large cat in that game as well. Doing JPs as a Charr is nigh impossible.

why would i go up past the npc? there is a slide.
