i don't really think that there are 500 items in this game, that actually are worth keeping.
new retainer sounds good to me but only because i'm to lazy to sell all the stuff i don't need. -

No thanks i can't even find a spot in the ward for my two retainers adding more would make putting your npc in the ward even more of a pain in the ass.

One of the lettered patches before 1.22 will add npc storage for event items and such.

Add a moogle, just make it useable in houses, can't sell items and has an expanding inventory depending on your furniture And he can double as a mail box too!

In the last "more retainers" thread I saw, someone suggested that only the initial two retainers could be used in the wards to sell, and any others after that could only be called at the bells, which would make them specifically for storage and wouldn't further clutter the wards. As a synth-material packrat who is desperately in need of more space, I am totally willing to pay for more retainers just for storage.
