Disrespectful and Dismissive.

There was plenty of questions, concerns, and feedback from players regarding healers. Their response was short and dismissive. Ast is is fine as is and the changes were necessary due to feedback and data. No changes to be made. Scholars will have tool tips updated.

And yet healer numbers are still down, ast most prominently absent in content.

Shameful.

You can sense they can't even take pride or acknowledge the changes they made. Instead their comments are defensive to non existent.

Well I've already ditched AST as of 5.0, I have no plans to return to it other than leveling it for titles/purging of gear. While I am thankful for the buffs they gave AST in the last patch (which should have at least been there from the start of the expansion if they actually cared for any semblance of balance) it doesn't quite feel like the same job to me. Too much was removed for "just another heal."

They seem like they want us to forget about the problems or run away from them, as healer I cant but feel that I am some kind of second class player for the devs and makes me doubt if they really are able to give solution to our corcerns

People complain about AST but I just played it for the first time since ShB launched and I didn't see the big deal over the complaints. Seemed like AST to me.

Edit: Currently I cannot say with certainty the timeframe of these data sets.

However, if we assume a two week snapshot of each, Eden far outstrips Omega on all tiers. Dwindling healer numbers seems an inaccurate claim.

I wouldnt mind all the changes if they made blue mage able to do roulettes or better yet playable st endgame content

Even if you don't mind the changes, you have to admit this was dismissive. Look at the live letter question thread. There were a disproportionate amount of questions about healers, and those questions got a disproportionate number of likes. Healers was clearly something people wanted to hear about, and they didn't even put as much thought into discussing AST as they did into discussion SAM. Which I can't remember a single question asking about.

It seems they only care about simplifying the jobs enough to balance, and our feeback is nothing to them. I already threw the Astro globe away I worked so many hours in Eureka for. Wasted time for a trash support.

Barely two weeks into the tier and there are more recorded total healers than Alphascape over its entire non-echo existence. Slightly more than Deltascape.

I’m fairly certain those are over a two week period—meaning parses for just those two weeks, not the lifetime of the tier.

It is worth noting the huge discrepancy in AST compared to both 2 weeks in Delta, 2 in Alpha, and then 1 Week in Eden. Just shy of 6,000 ASTs compared to the 13,000 in your Delta link and the 11,000 in the Alpha one. Compare the relatively closer distribution of the three over the links to the previous tiers to Eden, where there is a huge discrepancy between WHM/SCH and AST.

I didn't like Eureka very much (didn't even finish leveling through hydatos) but everything they did didn't make me want to finish the only weapon I ever worked on (AST). Never even put stats on the pyros astrometer yet (glamour only) and I just flat out tossed my eureka crystals as a result. Suffice to say it was an extreme low blow to me for all the work I put into it.
