I know the Lodestone has nothing to do with the Mog station, but I just ordered the NEW Endless Summer Attire set and it was EVIDENTLY SUPPOSED to change from the male to the female set upon ordering because there is NO separate female set to order from. In essence I received the MALE attire for my female character. Does anyone know what I need to do? Is there a way to contact the MOG station and fix this ? I left the items in the mail.

Try to talk to the Calamity Salvager or the Recompense Officer in Ul'dah/Limsa/Gridania
There's a section where you can trade male gear for their female equivalent.. Maybe you'll have luck -

No worries. You're not the first to be confused by items having a single static icon but variable appearance dependent on gender once actually equipped.
