Forum Redundancies

I just wanted to point out a few things about our nifty new forums that are either redundant or not working properly.

1.) At the top of the screen, right side, we see "Welcome, <Yourname>" and immediately next to it we have another button for "My Profile". Both of these links send us to our profile page, meaning one is not needed. Or, perhaps more useful would be to have one of the links send us to our Lodestone blog.

2.) Clicking the "Settings" button at the top of the screen takes us to the subscriptions portion of our user control panel. But if we click on "Quick Links" on our navigation bar, its only entry is for Subscribed Threads. Perhaps this should be replaced with something less redundant, such as a "My posted comments" link?

3.) The Dev Tracker link on the forum navigation bar is broken. The Dev Track on the main forum page works correctly, but the link found below the search box takes you you to the first page of a thread where a dev have posted, rather than the actual post.

That's all for now. I'm sure there are some other bugs to be found, but there are what I've seen after a few days of using the forum.

Hopefully some of these changes get implemented soon.

I was torn between whether to post this in bugs or suggestions, but in the end I decided on bugs since I feel it's more of an oversight than anything else.

On the Lodestone, when we check our profile, we see

followed by the number we have of each. However, as far as I can tell, there's no way to find which entries you've made, commented on, followed, or liked. Shouldn't these be links that take us to a page that links to each set of information?

So, two more quick details that slightly problematic...

1.) It may be different in a non-Firefox browser, but currently it's really difficult to tell hyperlinks apart from normal text. I only seem to notice them when I accidentally mouse-over them at the text suddenly gets underlined.

2.) The signature pics are getting a bit silly. As far as I can tell, there's no mechanism whatsoever in place to limit the width of a signature picture. While I don't really mind this in and of itself, it's mildly annoying to see the page randomly have a horizontal scroll bar because someone has gotten a tad to happy with their signature picture. I honestly feel that signature pictures should have both a maximum width and a maximum height. I nominate 650px × 150px, for obvious reasons. ^-^
