You get lag spikes and disconnects alluding to the ever-so-frequent DDoSing...

Behemoth here. Getting knocked offline often and having insane lag spikes.

Balmung's getting hit pretty bad too, along with Malboro (judging by our dcing tank).

Is it actually DDoSing or just the servers under heavy load?

My entire potd group was spiked.. and then fc started lighting up at the same time.
We lost one guy to dc in my party, then it quit for a bit only to start up all over again. This time my entire fc was kicked offline and then my potd party. I was almost done my 10 set of floors and I'm pretty growly about that /sigh. Time wasted.

I doubt savage brings in people by the bucket loads, but certainly no small amount. Just not, fresh new expansion, amount.

Very likely ddosing or some someone tripped over a cabled in the DC.

Very likely a DDoS, as it was completely fine most of the morning and even after the first major spike a couple hours earlier, it stabilized itself quickly.

Probably some script kiddies trying to ruin world first runs of Savage, if I had to guess.

No confirmed statement about DDoSing... but the symptoms are there, it's patch day, and it's been a full week since Blizzard last reminded us they still exist (kidding, not kidding). All the signs point to it.
