RDM is back to its feet. BLM is still strong as hell.

Thanks a lot SE for reducing the cooldown from our bugged pets from 10 seconds to 3 seconds, that's what the class definitely needed.

Time to get back to RDM.

Would be nice to not have to co-main jobs just because one plays caster. Prog mage isn't satisfying really but I guess that's the niche se wants for RDM.

Rip SMN really hard tho. Idk how one would fix it but it, as ever, feels like a jumble of mechanics thrown at a wall hoping something would stick.

Finally reduced mana costs for red mage and reprise got buffed.

Wait wut? You are aware that this won’t put RDM back on its feet right?

The dps difference between casters is over a thousand, while the different on melee is like 500 dps excluding ninja.

RDM utility is still nerfed up the wall as adjustments only made to some skills, so ur rezzing is still heavily limited. Embolden still stands as the worst rdps buff lol.

PF will still lock RDMs out, half decent BLMs without practice will still put dps a RDM :p

RDM is defintly not fixed.

Enchanted reprise change looks interesting.
The mana adjustments will defintly amend its rotation.

But it’s defintly not fixed when sat like just short of 2000 dps of BLM with the lowest rdps value and a heavily limited Rez.

I don’t think it’s RDMs nicht, it’s just simply how it works being the more simple caster of the 3

It’s easier to learn a fight on a easier job. It’s just that simple :p

No, it's most definitely verraise. Otherwise every other role would likewise have a prog version to play. They don't, however.

i dont think u reliese why RDM is a "prog job" for casters.

BLM and Summoner are Casters. this means Raid knowledge is of a higher requirement to optimise then any other role in the game. this isnt saying they're HARDER its saying the Knowledge required is higher.

other Roles Do not suffer the burden of being forced to be as Immobile as Can possibly be, the Mobility isnt as Drastically different between Jobs of other Roles either.

RDM with or without Verraise is preferable in Prog, Because Summoner and BLM will suck in a first time run, its impossible for u to even use ur job without the knowledge. unlike other roles.

OP if you're going to complain about SMN some more, you don't need to disguise it behind the other casters. Sure the job needs some attention but I've to see it used for trolling.

The only thing BLM has going for it is damage. Think about it, it has no party buffs, utility etc. It only takes and never gives. The nature of BLM is that it cannot protect. It can only destroy, break, devastate, and cause calamitous ruin to everything around it. The only utility it use to have were mana shift and apocatastasis. All of that is gone. What does it have now? Adele is pointless, so no need to mention that here in my opinion. Nothing but damage. It does not synergize well with anything for the most part in my opinion and is the ultimate outlier in all parties. Yes, you could a slot it into a party, buff it with utility from other members, and then watch as it melts everything. However, outside of that it has nothing else. If you take away the damage it does have and water down it’s ability to melt stuff then what good is it? It is only a BLM in name and not in ability. RDM synergizes well with melee damage dealers. SMN synergize well with all parties via devotion regardless of how long the CD may be or how sucky embolden is. BLM is always out on its lonesome and probably likely to die if it puts its circle down and an aoe comes through because it doesn’t want to move even when mana wars is on CD lmao jk. But it is usually on its lonesome as the outlier. Is it not fair that all casters should have their niche or place somewhere?

smn isn't as bad as people make it out to be, its just not completely busted like it used to be. Sorry they decided having rdps contribution roughly equal to a black mage, WHILE BEING ABLE TO RAISE, isn't an ok balance point anymore as it was in stormblood. It wasn't.
